Environmental Engineering reflection
The project in which I have taken the most from was the Coral Reef Conservation Project, in which we put together tanks that would house Coral. The main focus for a long time was building the rack that would hold the tank, it was made out of angle iron. We had to cut these pieces and then weld them together in a manner so that they would make up the right sized rack that we would need. What I took away from this project most would have to be the ability to weld. I can use this ability in many real world situations. What I am most proud of from this project would have to be my welds on my rack. It was my first time and yet I did much better that most. I really feel like I grasped the knowledge being released from this project and have bettered my Environmental Engineering skills. Environmental Engineering is probably my favorite class, because of all of the fun hands’ on work and building. I wish that I didn’t have to leave it next semester.
